> When I was young and thought I was fat after a childbirth. And diet pills were the rage. First I had lost weight during the pregnancy. But wanted to be skinny. So had the ob-gyn prescribe me a diet pill assuming they were amphetamines. No restrictions at the time. He gave me 30 days of them. Took one every other day. I had no anxiety, no psych problems then. Was only 22. But I got a lot done. Washed all the windows outside the house daily. Toward the end I started to have a problem falling asleep a first for me then. Soon as off them. Went back to normal. So I imagine they are horrible for those with bipolar or a similar illness. They seem to prescribe this stuff like candy these days. I've got a really awesome doctor, so I'm not going to say anything to him. But, buyer beware...for sure! Sleep seems to be the thing they really mess up.
