I'm stable on Trileptal, but it does make me hot and sweaty all night, gives me terrible night sweats, just a side effect, I guess.
But I'm just flat with no emotions and no motivation. A form of depression?
I'm thinking of switching from Geodon to something else. I've been off Geodon for 2 weeks and I feel less irritable and anxious. But, now just a half a cup of coffee makes me a jittery mess. I'm not having the eye twitches anymore from Geodon which is nice.
Having said this, my doc pushes Abilify, but I'm afraid of the weight gain. I don't know if low dose Lamictal would help with the low motivation & no energy ( I think this is a form of depression). What about Buspar for low grade depression?
I haven't tried Latuda or any others.
Any thoughts? I know low grade blah depression feeling is just a side effect of the BPII and mood stabilizers. But it sucks.
