I've been on a number of atypicals and geodon is unique for me in terms of lifting the emotional blunting intrinsic to the type of depression I have. All the other atypicals seem to have the opposite effect where I can't feel a thing. I would stay on Geodon but the medication started to give me weird cardiac problems and a general destabilization exacerbating my questionable bipolar spectrum disorder. Are there any new atypicals that work like geodon without the emotional blunting that say Zyprexa or Resperdal have? I've been on Zyprexa as I said , resperdal, Abilify, and Serequel but not the newer ones. Or are they just basically re formulated version of those medications to try to capitalize of the expired patents? I don't have schizophrenia but I have a propensity to get mildly disorganized that the lowest dose of atypicals ameliorate. It's a sort of delirious state more than anything else that Lamictal also seems to treat so I'm not exactly sure what you would call what this is. There has been some question of TLE. Anyway any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
