Latuda and Akathisia

Please refer to my previous posts for background.

After phasing out Haldol and Wellbutrin because of very powerful EPS symptoms. My son decided he would try Latuda (prompted by Pdoc). The phasing out while taking 40 mg Latuda went pretty well.
After starting the 80 mg. some moodiness surfaced,the second day Akathisia increased and by the third day it was more exaggerated.

He seemed not to do well with Cogentin and Artane in the past, so I offered him a 25 mg off the shelf Benadryl tablet. Inside of 20 minutes he was settling down.

Any comments on Latuda will be welcomed as well as dealing with Akathisia which has always been a part of his Schizoaffective problem from the start even prior to being on psych meds.
