Yes, but it's rarely, if ever, going to be a first-choice medication. Drug interactions are more likely to be an issue for elderly people on multiple medications for various medical conditions. Even in young people not on multiple meds, other SSRIs should be tried first, but Luvox may be appropriate on occasion.

There isn't an evidence than Luvox is more effective for OCD than other SSRIs, but individual response may vary. Luvox does tend to cause more drowsiness.
