Beta-blocker, propanol

Hi,
Does anyone have experience with propanol? I am prescribed 1-2 x daily. The tablet is 10mg.
This is prescribed for anxiety and tremor. I took some this evening, and other than a slight headache, I'm not sure I felt anything.
Any good for anxiety?
