I don't know if there is a pharmacokinetic interaction (increasing or decreasing blood levels of desipramine). Ginkgo does have blood thinning effects which means it shouldn't be taken with aspirin or other blood thinners.
Ginkgo can be stimulating for some, there have been case reports of it inducing mania (in conjunction with fluoxetine). Ginkgo has some (mild) MAOI effects so on a theoretical basis, it shouldn't be taken with MAOIs.
I don't see any direct interaction with desipramine, but you might want to do a google search and or check with a pharmacist.I think a risk may be on the cardiovascular level. Be sure you check your blood pressure on desipramine as this med can sometimes raise it.
