I'm not considering going into one right now---I live comfortably with my (fortunately) comfortable parents, so I'm safe and comfortable, Praise God--but...
...I dunno. I was out-of-commission for a good 10 years. I'm 30 now. I'm working on a degree online, but I get the sense that this will end up being a case where I learn, my mind is sharpened, but I still won't be able to get a job. The economy has tanked and nobody wants to hire a former mental patient after a certain age, especially in respectable positions.
I have no technical skills. I have a terrible reputation around here.
Ugh. What are group homes like?
