I take 10 mg in the morning and 10 mg in the late afternoon. Any more than that I get tired. It seems like very little, but I think my other drugs (Wellbutrin & Abilify) increase the blood level of propranolol (I could be wrong). When I took the 60 mg SR once a day I felt dulled and very tired, it was an effort to move.

I take alprazolam for sleep, and propranolol (another beta blocker, one that crosses the blood-brain barrier) during the day for anxiety, and propranolol helps so much for anxiety and social phobia. I'm less depressed when I'm less anxious -- could that be part of the connection?
