Short term yes definitley, but long term chronic dosing can pose problems. Side effects of chronic dosing usually are irratability, some memory impairment/learning becomes harder, and some people say depressive outlook. These mainly occur after a month or so of smoking, when the user becomes accustomed to cannibas and therefore begins to feel less of it's effects. Also noteworthy is it is a potent anti androgen, and subsequently over long term use greatly reduces testosterone levels, which in makes can induce depression. Finally, it is an immunosuppressive agent, but not sure how much effect this may have on anything. I have ocd, but can personally attest to the benifits it gives on sleep, but other than that severely exacerbates ocd symptoms, so if anxiety is a thing you might want to tread lightly.
