I prefer to think of it as desperate enough to try anything.

I remember feeling like that. Not caring. Wanting more medication and more and more and feeling numb like a zombie... Even long term effects of bi-lateral ECT... Even permanent coma... Even death... God dammit, anything, anything at all would have been preferable to how I used to feel.

One can't undo the past... But one can move differently into the future...
