OK. So, I had (heavy, involuntary) electroshock 7 years ago. Not a fun experience :-(
I've now recovered, by the grace of God. But...I'm apparently "severely Bipolar" (type I, psychotic). Which raises the question...
is ECT just a way to dumb people down? Like, you're crazy, but simple minded, so its not a big deal? I mean, especially heavy ECT, which is apparently what I had...
Anyway, I just think its strange. All that electroshock, and now that I've "recovered," my so-called "symptoms" are back, requiring "treatment." Hmmm...
...anyway, this time around, I'm poppin mah Rx'd pills. Last thing I want is more shock. Meds may not be the best things ever--I sometimes think they're just palliatives, really, to take the edge off--but they beat being an electroshocked simpleton.
And...that is all :-)
