In reply to Nardil causing intense nausea, posted by hello123 on July 2, 2015, at 16:47:25
Hang in there. I'm usually "lucky" in terms of not experiencing many of the side effects of medicines, but I was not immune to Nardil's side effects. Upon first taking the medication, like 7 years ago, I had all the side effects in the book. I don't recall as much nausea, but, hey, everyone is different. In my experience, the side effects do subside. While some side effects have disappeared completely, some do remain, but at a bearable level. I recall Nardil working as I reached 60 mg, which maybe took 2 months, I believe. And let me tell you, it really saved me. It brought back mental stability and allowed me to function and thrive again.
Watch certain cheeses. For me, Monterey Jack/Cheddar tend to incite some reaction. I eat Mozzarella, Provolone, Swiss with no problems at all.
