Scott some anti-infection and anti-toxin anti-inflammation herb combinations could be very helpful. Or at a very minimum, would solidly rule in or out that particular cause generating your symptoms. I just think that strategy has a great deal more potential, with far less risk, and if it worked it would be consistent with what is happening in the anecdotal world. Three months later, see how things are going, postpone any other treatments until after that?
My own experience suggests two substances for high reliability in improving your cluster of symptoms..Ritalin, Marijuana. MMJ being the better of the two. Most people who do well with the stimulants I think do so with Adderall. For me it was Ritalin. It was potent on the anhedonia brain fog cluster. I don't take it anymore. Better than both is the right strain of medical mj. Maybe consider that if you are in a legal State, or maybe research trying it as a test. Unlike meds, anhedonia drifts away in minutes instead of weeks or months. I'm just saying that because it is does not require the long time investment of meds, and that is a plus....the sooner we feel better. I could share some miracle stories on that plant from folks I have known...psychiatric miracles.
I believe the antidepressants are useless for your cluster of symptoms...just my opinion. I think they can help some symptoms, antipsychotics help a lot too, but both of them make those symptoms worse.
