Jereon I think the evidence is pretty clear, that you are correct.
Psychiatric treatment has barely any improvement, if any, to show for the last couple decades, and maybe has gotten worse than it was. From my vantage point that is. Others might see it different. There are many new drugs and theories, but the percentages of people getting better I don't think has changed much, maybe even got worse.
I think that is why I speak out and encourage patients all over the world to take over part of the steering wheel for their own medical journey, do some of their own research, and try some of their own ideas. That's because, I know, we all know, the psychiatric prescription toolbox needs more effective tools in it.
The effective tools we need, are not available from a prescription or a psychiatrist. They are generally bought OTC at one's own convenience and are very cheap. But that's a whole book....
The earth has an abundance of herbs, foods, supplements, and other approaches, which allow the patient to actually embark on a journey of remission with a huge toolbox of lots of good tools.
Modern medicine gives us a little tiny tool box, and a lot of suicides do happen, homocides as well, and as we all know, mass shootings and plane crashes....these are the things that happen when adequate treatment is either skipped or refused.
