Adjunct Treatments

Posted by ghuber on December 3, 2015, at 18:20:17

My mother in-law tried committing suicide back in July. She was on 60mg Cymbalta at that time. Her pdoc upped her to 90mg Cymbalta and added 300mg Wellbutrin each day. Though she is now stable (not feeling like she is going to try again) she reports she is still feeling depressed and has no energy or motivation.

Any adjunct treatments anyone can suggest? Yesterday I started her on a high potency mulit-vitamin that has lots of Vitamin D, B Vitamins and Vitamin C. In addition, I got her to take a whey protein supplement to supply her body with a good supply of amino acids (she is a poor eater). Can anyone else think of anything else to try?
