You know yourself well. I guess potent SRI drugs (SSRI, SNRI) screw you up. Sorry.
Saphris is an interesting drug. A friend of mine had been on Navane (thiothixeine), an older AP, to control her more extreme delusions and psychoses. However, everything didn't come together for her until she added Saphris. It almost instantly cleared up her thinking and produced an energizing antidepressant effect. She has schizoaffective disorder (bipolar type), and is now in complete remission.
Keep trying. Whenever you doubt that drug therapy is worthwhile, remember the times, no matter how brief, when treatment made you feel unquestionably better.
