I have no idea.

This is really more of a switch than a cross-titration. With cross titration, you gradully reduce the dosage of the old drug while simultaneously increasing the dosage of the new drug. People will express concern over serotonin syndrome (SS) while taking both drugs. This is an uncommon reaction. However, when MAOIs are involved, SS is a rather common sequalae.

Once you reach a therapeutic dosage of Viibryd, you can then taper the Effexor if necessary. The advantages to this is that you might not suffer too badly between drugs, and that you will be effectively testing to see if a combination of Effexor and Viibryd works well for you.
