I have been taking Abilify for over 10 years. I find it helpful, but it does not produce a true remission.
I started taking Vraylar 4 days ago at a dosage of 3.0 mg/day. Your doctor should call for samples, as they have been available for a few weeks. My medicare insurance company covered Vraylar.

So far, I don't like the way I feel on Vraylar. I feel somewhat "drugged" and slowed-down. I don't know if this is a startup side effect or something that will persist. I continue to take Abilify, but will begin tapering it tomorrow. Maybe the two drugs together are producing the drugged feeling. I doubt it, though. We shall see.
