violent impulses on Latuda?

Posted by porkpiehat on June 10, 2016, at 10:15:57

On day three of Latuda 10 mg and I became so enraged with a client and had such violent urges that I made him leave. I have felt somewhat detatched with people, like they weren't really even people, on Latuda and risperdal, but the violent impulses and crazy violent dreams are scaring me. I woke up with some kind of akasthesia last night.

Some seratonergics make me extremely irritable like serzone and buspar and zoloft. I am not psychotic but possibly BPII/trauma so we are trying to stay away from SSRI's at the moment.

Currently taking lamictal which is sapping my drive and ramping persecutory thinking, not helping much with anxiety.

Is this a common side effect for latuda? I'm worried about trying to "push through it" and doing some damage.

Isn't there a genetic mutation that can spur rage with certain psych meds? Perhaps this is a facet of trauma being laid bare.

Could a low dose of lithium address the persecutory thoughts from Lamictal? I don't freaking know :(
