There is some indication that adding low-dose (300-600mg/day) of lithium to Prozac can help in treatment resistant depression. I obtain an improvement at 300 mg/day when added to Parnate.

Fava et al. conducted a study of people who did not improve adequately to Prozac (fluoxetine) 20 mg/day. It compared the addition of of low-dose lithium to a dosage increase of Prozac to 60 mg/day. The 60 mg/day was superior, but the lithium augmentation was significant.
