Leftover meds...

If u are giving up on, or changing meds and you have leftovers, please do not throw them. Instead check out http://intercare.org.uk/how-to-help/donate-medicines/
This is a UK site but please check if your own country has its own branch.
Most intact meds can be sent. Read all the do's and don'ts. Also take to you family GP/MD who can set up a recycle program to reduce to waist. I have sent meds myself for several yrs.
Otherwise, at least take unwanted/unneeded meds to ur doc or pharmacy for safe disposal. What ends up in our water supplies ultimately ends up in our food!
