For what its worth, I know my doc has used bupropion alot with tranylcypromine.
I requested bupropion for augmenting isocarboxazid which I took together for at least 8 yrs, yet I was the 1st patient he had that had taken that combo. I also went high on this MAOI, 140mg in the end. I just seemed to be able to handle the high dosage with minimal side effects. in this case the bupropion was very effective at 300mg daily.
On my 1st time round on phenelzine 12yrs ago I eventually requested and was prescribed bupropion with that too. Also very effective and in that case I went to 450mg daily.
I've not tried tranylcypromine (its on the back burner) but bupropion seems to be quite safe with the 2 MAOIs I've mentioned, though these are both hydrazine derivatives and chemically unrelated to tranylcypromine.
Amitriptyline 100mg
Bupropion(Wellbutrin/Zyban)300mg
Quetiapine(Seroquel)150mg
Clonazepam(Klonopin/Rivotril)3mg
Pregabalin(Lyrica)400mg
Phenelzine(Nardil)45mg
