Well, I got the best response to some psychiatric meds at doses that were 1/10th to 1/2 of the lowest dose you can buy. I also did well on IR but not XR, but sometimes the opposite.
Right now the closest things to psychiatric meds I take are Rhodiola Rosea and St Johns Wort. Both of them are doing good work for me. But both are at very small doses. Most people do 500mg+ of Rhodiola - 100mg is my dose. Most people do 900mg of SJW - my best dose is just 150mg.
So I can feel that dose of SJW despite being so small. And I'm sure it wears off within 24 hours. rhodiola too. But it doesn't matter somehow. The mood improvement stays.
So I don't know, I think there are so many mysteries having to do with dose sizes, generic versus brand, IR versus XR, and such, I honestly think our scientific community is very weak on all this stuff. They really have no clue. You and me have a lot of questions they cannot answer. You and me experience things they cannot explain.
