question on Parnate dosing

Posted by Roslynn on October 2, 2018, at 14:27:31

Hi all,

I'm trying Parnate, so far not quite up to 20mg (going very slowly). But it sort of knocks me out within a couple hours of taking it, even at this low dose. So if I take it in the morning, it puts me to sleep in the afternoon.

But if I take even part of it at night (splitting the dose), it will have a brief knock out effect, then it will keep me up the rest of the night. Does this make any sense?

I'm going slowly on this because last time I tried it I had major dizziness and palpitations and I wanted to give my system a chance to get used to it this time.

Thank for any thoughts,
Roslynn
