hi. i read a small collection of case studies, about people whose neuroleptics made their anxiety worse or straight up caused intense anxiety (apparently, -not- akathisia). in cases where the person was on an older neuroleptic, they switched them, usually to seroquel. in other cases, the solution was xanax xr (LOL).

do you think your high dose neuroleptic combination could be contributing to this? I remember...I had to take haldol only -1- time, in a hospital...and the anxiety was unspeakable. next day it was risperidone, not so terrible. but...

especially when there's 2 full dose neuroleptic in the mix, id wonder...if the major tranquilizers aren't exacerbating the situation, not helping.

not trying to be hard on you, either. have you ever tried abilify or the other D2 partial agonists? I just ask because Abilify has a crazy high D2 occupancy rate...at the max dose of 30mgs, its something like 90%...if it wasn't for that partial agonism, it'd be like Haldol...

and the high occupancy at therapeutic doses makes for a much looser fitting chemical strait jacket. i say this as someone pretty much stuck on abilify, lol.

just a thought. i hope things get better for you.
