My opinion is that most of these are "me-too" drugs. From what I have read, they don't really appear to be significantly different from other drugs used to treat the same disorders.
If your problem is mainly with side effects, they might be worth trying. But because they're newer and the patents haven't expired, they will be much more expensive.
