> Interesting! Did it go away for how long? I get nasal ketamine at the compounding pharmacy for 2x a week @60mg at $20. I don't have amazing results, but a subtle help in my ability to get things done. Good luck.
______________That seems like a reasonable price, and I'm glad it helps. Are you able to forgo other medications while taking ketamine? Also, you're able to administer it yourself, or are you supervised in office? Have you noticed any tolerance? (Sorry for all the questions!)
I would say the effect lasted months. At least four where I would find myself thinking, 'hmmm. I'm in a pretty good mod since that surgery.' I kept bringing it up to my shrink, haha and he researched midazolam for some chemical mechanism similar to ketamine.I really hope treatment is available near me.
This last surgery was Thursday, and the depression has lifted (I have dysthymia and BPll depression). Due to nausea from antibiotics and lack of appetite, I'm not enjoying myself yet.
Another thing. My social anxiety temporarily improves but not for nearly as long.
The experience of ketamine was/is unpleasant, but with foreknowledge, I worked on having an ok trip. The first time, I was frightened.
