Has anyone experienced panic attacks, chest pain, fatigue, slurred speech and loss of appetite from Lamisil for toenail fungus? Labs including liver function are normal, ECG is normal, chest Xray is normal, so by exclusion it sounds like panic attacks. Symptoms started in early March by the third day after starting Lamisil, discontinued the drug after six days, but appetite suppression and occasional chest pinches remain 2-1/2 months later. All this started when Coronavirus was spreading so PCR and antibody testing was done but came back normal.
Its hard to find information why Lamisil could cause increased anxiety or loss of appetite, but I found mentions of increased IL-8 and TNFalpha.
What concerns me is the prolonged loss of appetite and how I might counteract this by medication, diet or OTC supplements. No loss of taste, just no appetite. Some weight loss, but I make sure to eat.
Any advice would be appreciated.
