Carbidopa or Carbidopa + Levodopa + depression

Posted by MightyKondrian on August 6, 2020, at 19:17:00

I'm curious about the effects of adding either Carbidopa, L-dopa or a combination of both to an irreversible MAOI. In my case isocarboxazid.

There is some information floating around the net but nothing that really answers my question, so I came here.

Does anyone here have any thoughts about adding Carbidopa, L-dopa or a combination of both to an MAOI that has been taken continuously for over a year?

Anyone even experimented with these, not including those with pre-existing Parkinson's? I'm thinking probably not.

All comments welcomed.

Thanks,
MK
