Apparently CBDA (i.e. CBD before it has been cooked) is about 100 times more potent as an agonist of 5-ht1a receptors. CBD is a moderate 5-ht1a agonist, and (supposedly) CBDA is potent.
Normally, I decarb (cook) by CBD before consuming it. However, I am trying undecarbed CBDA to see what sorts of effects it might have on anxiety.
I've always wanted something like buspirone, but without the annoying noradrenergic metabolite.
