acutally gabapentinoids (may) be more effective than benzos in treating sensory pain, there prescribed as nerve pain medication, nuerontin yes it used for anxiety i take nuerontin, it...you feel a bit of relaxation but it lacks the potency of benzos, but it's unique in its own way to treat nerve pain. Lyrica is a more potent, and is alot more effective for anxiety. Their design treats diffrent things. Nuerontin is the basic gabapentinoid, there's others like phenibut, lyrica, and some others that are not as popular as those. You may asked your doctor about gabapentin for nerve pain, or sensory issues. It is in catagory to what your describing
