I'm just guessing, but I'm quite certain that you won't get lasting psychosis from a single dose. Otherwise, we would have heard of it.

In the study, subjects got sedated and even fell asleep, so probably it's not addictive at that dose. However, we know that laughing gas can produce euphoria, meaning there is a risk of at least *psychological* dependence, if not outright addiction.
