Only two drugs have had a robust anhedonic effect for me.1. Imipramine (Tofranil) - 3-7 days.
2. Phenelzine (Nardil)
....a. Monotherapy - 3 weeks.
....b. Polytherapy
........i. With amitriptyline (Elavil) - 3 days (Probably the result of amitriptyline without a contribution by phenelzine 45 mg/day).
........ii. with nortriptyilne + lamotrigine + lithium - 1 year + 4 months.I have also experienced mild and transient anhedonic effects from:
1. Bromocriptine
2. Olanzapine
3. Asenapine
4. Nomifensine

Some see things as they are and ask why.
I dream of things that never were and ask why not.The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
