Yes.
I wasn't expecting anything. That's probably one reason why it happened. If I had had some motive, other than writing, it would probably have affected the associations and led me in a less fruitful direction.

If I had the inspiration, or lack of apathy, I would write a lot more.

I myself used to feel shame when reality contradicted the unconscious delusional ideals, and I was not aware of what was happening. I guess a lot of pathological narcissists will automatically go into a fit of rage rather than allow themselves time to feel the shame, and they are likely not conscious of it at all.
