I do know about Trillium (I live in Ontario), but for some reason I don't qualify. I think (basically) it covers the excess of 3% of your annual income (I could be wrong, I should check). Last time I applied (was making $40K) I didn't qualify.
I don't spend more than a few thousand on meds a year. It's less than 3% of my income, but that doesn't mean I can afford it. Then you tack on medical marijuanna then I have to watch costs. Inflation is insane, housing costs are insane, food is insane. I have no benefits.
Venlafaxine is dirt cheap ($20 for 3 months) but generic duloxetine is much more expensive ($200 for 3 months). So, I nixed the idea.
Escitalopram (if it worked) was barely affordable, but unfortunately it was crap.
That's the other problem. All the filled prescriptions for meds that are useless. No money back guarantees.
