Not any more. I drink protein powder in water now and have been doing fine (taking so many large capsules gets old after a while).
I was taking between 4 and 6 of GNC's DLPA 400 daily (1600-2400 mg DLPA, 50% D-/50% L-). I can't say whether any brand is better than the other. I am pretty sure GNC's did some good for me though.
