Hi Lar,
I phoned Ajax (as mentoned in that post),,they wanted $51.90 for pharmaceutical grade(BP), and $59.90 for lab grade for 500ml...gee Epsom salts (pharmacy grade -BP)from the supermarket is about $5 for 1 Kg.
I suggested to Ajax that perhaps they have a different price for distributors. They agreed.
They sell small quantites at inflated prices to the public..up to $100 worth max.I phoned a company the post or links from it mentioned. They could do me technical grade (fertilizer grade) 25Kg for $1.50 per Kg.
They err said that some companies probably repackage it and onsell for human use..without really saying so.
I told them I wanted larger quantities so I could use for fertilizer and personal consumption..which I would do and that price.
They couldn't give me the specs though(unsure why), but said they'd ask around for me for a distributor with a better price than Ajax and phone me back on Friday with the name of where I may be able to obtain some cheaper BP grade from.
They also said Ajax was a ripoff..still waiting for phone call
..sounds very much like the company bluedog mentioned told him the name of a distributor, so still hopeful
