CRH is corticotropin releasing hormone, a substance released by the hypothalamus which regulates adrenal function.

NPY is neuro(active) peptide Y, which acts on the hypothalamus (and many other regions), and regulates feeding behaviour.

above.

Have you read The Bi polar Child?

No.

> Do they effect sleep wake cycles?

Indirectly, CRH would.

> Why are 75% of people with bi polar women?

I don't know. And I don't know that statistic is correct, either.

> Why are almost all rapid cyclers and mined states women?

I don't know (the first half). I don't understand the second.

> What does the parathyroid do?

Regulates blood calcium levels (it's part of a more complex regulatory system, which involves bone deposition, bone decomposition, gut uptake, and kidney excretion).

> Does it regulate calcium?

Yes.

> Does litium harm it?

Not usually. Overdose may.
