I recently took a drug test at the hospital and tested positive for amphetamine. The only substance I and they can link it to is Ampamet(aniracetam). This is kind of strange. Being that aniracetam is a smart drug that acts on cholinergic transmission, ampa receptors and is somewhat structurally similar to gaba. Changes in dopaminergic transmission have been noted from it too. Possibly, this could be an alternative to Adderall for my Add and Social Anxiety since I can't get that prescribed. Here's a link about aniracetam's anxiolytic effects... http://biopsychiatry.com/aniracantianx.htm
