I don't think money is the whole answer. It's damn helpful, don't get me wrong, but look at all the wealthy people who've had the same difficulties with depression that we have!

I've spent a lot of money trying all the supplements touted at one time or another and none proved pariculary helpful. Of course, some have found them helpful, but many have not. Some that are particulary expensive and worthless IMHO are: SAMe, 5-HTP, St John's Wart, Inositol, C-Q10 (or whatever it's called), homeopathy, high dosages of vitamins such as C, the Bs, E, etc.

Some that I think have helped: Fish oil (at least 4-6 caps in divided doses ) tyrosine and glutamine (on empty stomach in am, not recommended to take all the time) and magnesium (at night).

Good luck.
