It was me. (Great question Jaby!).
In response to your other question/ uncertainty, "I seem to hear it both ways. Part of the confusion stems from the diference from inositol and myoinositol": they are both one and the same (i also asked this question awhile back, too). "Inositol is just the short form of "Myoinositol".
But yes, please inform us when you come to any conclusions. Off the top of my head, i would suspect that inositol would not squelch the benefits of lithium, since i believe that lithium has several other effects besides inositol depletion-- such as glutamate inhibition, which seems like it could be quite positive/ beneficial (and which i just learned about recently from someone on this board).
