I haven't been having much luck with ADs (have been on four in the past year with minimal relief), so I was hoping to augment naturally. I had tried L-Tyrosine, but I think I started too high (500 mg, three times a day) with L-Glutamine (500 mg, twice a day) and became really agitated and jittery. May try again since it did help initially with energy and motivation, but at a much lower dose to begin with.

Also, combining it with glutamine obscures the observations available to you, as you've changed two variable simultaneously. Some people do better on phenylalanine (DLPA) than tyrosine. It's just another thing to try, if tyrosine isn't right for you.

>Thanks Larry. I am going to hold off on the L-Tyrosine for a little while to see how I do on the other supps I am taking. I think I have finally found a good vitamin/mineral regime, so I'll see where that takes me. Although I don't have as much energy as I used to (pre-iron deficiency and pre-Depo Provera), it is improving now that the Depo Provera shot is wearing off.
Another question. What do you think of wheatgrass? Postives? Negatives? Cautions? I'm thinking of substituting the green foods supplement with just wheatgrass.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
