It may be that minor constituents of different fish oils have synergistic effects. I don't think anyone has really investigated that in any depth.
From the perspective of the two major omega-3s, DHA and EPA, fish oil is fish oil. Some people do seem to do better on specific brands. I can't account for that in any specific way.

There may be, but is the cost worth it? I don't know the answer. It can't be bad for you, but I can't predict if it's optimal for you.
