Hey folks,
So after a pretty gray couple of weeks with a non-daylight-synched sleep schedule, I'm pretty convinved that at a big component of my depression is light-related. I'd like to get a light box to start therapy for SAD and am thinking about Apollo's goLITE unit. It's small and portable, which is ideal for me.
The technology's kind of new: an array of LEDs that generate blue light. The spectrum hit by these lights is, according to the research on the Apollo site, best for melotonin supression. I'm inclined to believe this, and generally believe that Apollos makes good products, since their boxes are often chosen in clinical studies.
But, I'd like to know if anyone has any experiences with the goLITE. Especially comparisons with other more traditional light boxes.
Thanks,
