> I am about to try FLORA brand SJW, but have to admit I'm pretty scared of having a bad reaction such as heart palpitations or extra anxiety because I am currently already a wreck. So, I want to make sure I can take Klonopin if I have a scary reaction to the SJW. Klonopin has always been my safety net, but only when I really need it.

> Thanks!Clonazepam requires liver enzyme 3A4 for metabolism. St. John's wort increases the activity of that same enzyme, over a period of time. That means that the clonazepam would gradually become less effective. I don't think the effect would be huge, but it might be noticeable.
One would hope that the benefits of SJW might already have been apparent at that point, and the clonazepam would be less essential for you.
You won't get heart palpitations, or anything like that. It would just mean the clonazepam would wear off a little quicker than it usually does.
