Sorry to be redundant, but I thought some newcomers to The Vitamin D topic might appreciate a brief, non-technical introduction.
The US Dietary Guidelines for 2005 have already
raised the RDA of Vitamin D to 1000 IU for those in "at risk groups"--the elderly, the dark-skinned, and the sun-deprived.
I look forward to learning more about Vitamin D from the previous posts you've recommended. Thanks.
