Using it with a klono just gives klono a slight edge, its more so helping keep the klono more effective at a lower dose, than it is the taurine itself helping.
As for the redbull, the taurine in it acts to counter balance the stimulants the drink is packed with,so its a combination of a stimulant drink with a little bit of a sedative type substance to keep you from bouncing off the walls, this is why redbull is also popular to be used in alcholol drinks as once again the aclholol serves as a mild sedative, and usualy a sedative/stimulant combination work well.
Coffee as well, you get that caffeine blast, but unlike soda you get the calming effects that the coffee grind itself produce which is said to be opiate like in effect.Lastly i too can fall asleep on high doses of caffeine,i think this might be because dopamine is both inhibitory and stimulatory, increasing dopamine to a certain degree might make one more calmer, plus caffeine if u look it up has muscle smoothing properties, meaning itcan stop shaking and twictching of muscles, the opposite of parkins which is a result of a dopamine defc, one article,i dont know how much weight it holds, belives parkins patients for the most part avoided caffiene most of their lives, who knows.
