Zinc and copper depletion

Posted by Glydin on January 27, 2005, at 6:55:51

This is technically not related directly to mental health matters, but I thought I would ask away anyway.

Years ago I took zinc for skin matters prior to having info that informed me of copper depletion being a factor in long term use.

Does anyone know any cutoff point - as in, a low dose of zinc would not cause this to be an issue? I've read conficting information.

Any input would be appreciated
