Even though it's sugar free, you are still going to muck with your glucose metabolism:
1) Anything that tastes sweet still registers in the brain as sugar, and so starts the neurophysiological cascade of events that surrounds sugar consumption (including rebound hunger)
1.1) The rebound hunger will be exacerbated by the caffeine and the stomach acid it releases (intake of H2 _antagonists_ for 4-8 weeks can result in significant weight loss in many people. not sure if this is directly relevant, but it is food for thought...)
2) Caffeine messes with energy production/metabolism in the brain and throughout the body. I used to know a lot more about what it did, but I cannot recall.
3) The "crash" from a caffeine+sugar combination wearing off is worse than the crash of either alone (synergy). That is why red bull is so addictive
4) There are far healthier, more effective, and sustainable ways to boost energy, mood, etc. IMHO, it's senseless to pay money into a market that was created simply because amphetamine is illegal.
